Haunui is sailing from the Bay of Islands down the west coast to Kawhia today. Keanu confronts the recent deaths of two close friends and is challenged to paddle in the Maori Kings Regatta in Turangawaewae; Austin loses contact with his girlfriend and Ricky is put to work – in the toilet!
The Haunui waka leaves Kawhia Harbour and sails down to Whanganui where they are greeted by a waka powhiri. Austin reconnects with his Māori culture; Rickylee gets up close and personnel with eels and Keanu tends to his injuries in the healing awa.
