Set in Spain in the 1960s, a teacher who uses Beatles songs to teach English learns that John Lennon is making a film in Almería. Determined to know if this is true, he takes a road trip and en route he picks up a 16-year old boy who has run away from home and a 21-year old woman also appears to be running from something. A friendship forms between the three.
