Tama Waipara (26) won a scholarship to the prestigious Manhattan School of Music after the selection process placed him in the world’s top 15% of clarinet players. He is lead singer with a Harlem club band, performs in off-Broadway productions and has recently secured a recording contract. Tama Potaka (26) completed his masters in law at Columbia Law School and is now working for the second-largest litigation firm in New York City. Dean Walker (33), rugby player, model, professional boxer, is working in VIP security on assignments like the exclusive Sopranos cast party. He is filmed working at Ground Zero. Sarah Smith (29), a former karate champion from the Far North, is working for the NZ Mission to the United Nations and studying for a political science degree.
