  • 1The Government has outlined the broad changes it plans to make to our tax system. The finer details are still to be confirmed, though changes include the way in which property is taxed, and how beneficaries and low income earners will be compensated for the rise in GST will be announced in the Budget in May. The whole package is intended on being cost neutral to the tax take, meaning that in a way there will be no tax cut at all.
