  • 2The Commerce Commission has recommended that the government fix the cost of switching mobile phone calls between networks after Vodafone launched a calling plan that heavily favoured its own network. The competition regulator says imposing cost-based mobile termination rates is the best way to ensure vigorous competition, but this is a move that Vodafone and Telecom are resisting.
