  • 1New Zealand's SAS troops have been involved in another gun battle in the Afghan capital Kabul. Prime Minister John Key confirmed SAS soldiers were yesterday involved in a battle which led to the death of Jan Mohammad Khan, a senior adviser to Afghan, and MP, President Hamid Karzai. The Prime Minister says there are times when NZ troops are able to move from an mentoring mode to an enabling mode to assist the Afghan troops.
