The effectiveness of public investment in New Zealand children" for Every Child Counts. The report calculates the cost of child poverty and other poor outcomes at $6 billion a year - at least 3 percent of GDP. Every Child Counts is a group comprised of Barnados, Plunket, Save the Children, UNICEF NZ and the Institute of Public Policy at AUT.
