  • 1Some Maori living in mangrove swamps in Hauraki This week Te Whāriki Manawāhine o Hauraki, Hauraki Women's Refuge, released a report detailing the struggles wahine Maori face in Hauraki to get access to housing, with some being forced to sleep in cars with their children.   • 2Maori business delegation returns from China This week a Maori business delegation returned from a trip to China where they went to look at the digital storytelling sector. The group comprised of 10 Maori business leaders and their journey included Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Among them was the writer, actor and director Cian Elyse White.
