In press coverage pre-election next Saturday there has been reaction to protesters, demonstrators and 'long haired non-conformists', National party supporters have been charging the NZBC with being biased toward Labour. Labour Leader Mr Kirk accused the National party of using news to prop up a waning image. A National party supporter favoured censorship of the media, and the TV programme Gallery was attacked for letting young militants express their opinions. In a democracy all opinion should be open, but most of the reaction has been against youth expressing opinions.
