Topic is: Broadcasting generally, government policies in broadcasting and the newly established New Zealand Broadcasting Authority. The next years will see the introduction of competitive private broadcasting also with the further development of the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation providing a service to the whole nation. Also the introduction of new television channels, colour TV, satellite transmission, educational TV and more locally produced programmes.
