The discussion is on Communism and Religion today. In history Political and religious divisions on a map of the world cut across each other but none were really an ideological division. Today the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and China are both states of an ideology. Central Europe and Cuba are similar. This ideological division began with the Russian revolution in 1917 and has become a dominant political and economic fact.
