Tonight: Kuaka Mōhio - Ngā kōrero mo te ao o Rosina. This documentary celebrates te reo o te kainga and the expressions that are familar to those of Te Hiku o Te Ika. During this 26 minute documentary Rosina speaks about her life. She talks about growing up in Te Kao with her grandmother Meri and then later with her mother Nellie Hetaraka. She talks about the lifestyle new in her Māori community and then talks about what it was like to leave her community. She shares information about her elders and the way in which her life changed after leaving her Māori comminuty. Those changes impacted on her view of the world. In closing Rosina talks about the importance of whānau and the work involved in managing a family reunion.
