Tonight: Ngā kōrero a Katie Evans mō tōnā ao me te marae o Karepōnia. This programme celebrates te reo o te kāinga. Katie shares information about her time as a child, the kainga of Waihangahange, Te Rangiāniwaniwa and the marae of Karepōnia. Well into her 80s Katie still works at the local oyster factory and is the kaikaranga of her whanau marae. During this 26 minute documentary you will hear expressions that will remind you of Ngati Kahu.

An authentic collection of distinctive korero from around the motu, made for the iwi, by the iwi. Kuaka Wharau is a collection of short films about the kūia and kaumātua of Te Hiku o te Ika.
