Tonight: Ngā kōrero a Awhitia Witana mō tōna ao. Awhiatia Witana was born and bred in Te Kao. At a very young age she was kicked in the head by a horse and spent some time in Hosital. It was here that nurses taught her how to speak English. Later in her life she would train as a nurse and eventually moved to Thailand and Pakistan where she workd in hospitals and medical facilities.

An authentic collection of distinctive korero from around the motu, made for the iwi, by the iwi. Kuaka Wharau is a collection of short films about the kūia and kaumātua of Te Hiku o te Ika.
