Teanau Tuiono is a consultant for the Ministry of Education, stood for the Green Party in Manurewa in the recent elections and is a passionate advocate of Pacific Island education. For Teanau this is an opportunity to reconnect to his family in Atiu that he hasn’t been in touch with for most of his adult life and to a lifestyle he had long forgotten.

Reconnecting Māori whānau from around the country with their 'other side' or ancestors from abroad. For more than 200 years migrants from many countries have made their way to Aotearoa, establishing families with local Māori.
