Anahera Uruamo-Taiaki and her siblings have always known and respected their Rarotongan heritage. Anahera had never been to Rarotonga but was keen and curious about reconnecting with her whānau there.
Reconnecting Māori whānau from around the country with their 'other side' or ancestors from abroad. For more than 200 years migrants from many countries have made their way to Aotearoa, establishing families with local Māori.
