Utilising the land to build a strong future: A vibrant Marae with a young and collaborative Komiti who whakapapa back to four founding kuia. Te Kahika Pā is a living marae with a kohanga, papakāianga and an active role in the Te Puke community. The Marae have planted 1500 native trees, are eager to install solar, and have a long-term goal of creating employment on the marae.
