In this week’s ‘Talanoa with Tupe’ Hon Luamanuvao Dame Winnie Laban (DNZM) has an important message for women about Breast Cancer. Luamanuvao Dame Winifred Alexandra Laban DNZM QSO is a former New Zealand politician. She served as the Member of Parliament for the Mana electorate, representing the Labour Party, and was the Labour Party’s spokesperson for Pacific Island Affairs and for interfaith dialogue. She is currently Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Pasifika) at Victoria University of Wellington. Both Luamanuvao and Tupe have been nominated for New Zealand’s 2020 Women of Influence Awards awards.
