Weekly current affairs from Television New Zealand (TVNZ).

  • 1On the 14th July, 1489, French peasants stormed the Bastille, marking the start of the French Revolution. Whether the 195th anniversary of the event will mark a revolution on the New Zealand political front remains to be seen, however that is the date that Sir Robert Muldoon announced three days ago for the country's first snap General Election in 33-years. This episode features interviews with leaders of the major political parties, and with commentators. This is in the form of a series of separate interviews with the party leaders, none of them having seen any other of the interviews.
