A weekly Maori perspective on people, news, arts, and language from Television New Zealand (TVNZ).

  • 1As mainstream radio stations throughout Auckland compete for Breakfast listeners, there is a lone voice in Maori radio. Te Reo o Aotearoa is New Zealand's only Polynesian broadcasting unit, and was established in 1978 as part of Radio New Zealand. It is based in South Auckland and serves the largest Polynesian population in the world. Manager Haare Williams believes the media should be the right arm of the educational process when people are striving for social change.
