Television New Zealand's hour-long weekly current affairs programme presenting mini-documentaries on topical local issues.

  • 1The White Right The Whites of South Africa, outnumbered by the Blacks five to one, are bitterly divided over the best course for their country to follow. They range from hardliners at one end of the political spectrum, committed to retaining the apartheid policy of separate development, to liberals at the other end. Some of the hardliners are of Dutch origin - Afrikaners, who interpet apartheid as God's Will. Interview with an Afrikaner farmer, a member of the newly-formed Conservative Party, who believes that the end of apartheid will mean chaos for South Africa.

  • 2The Other Extreme The Whites of South Africa, outnumbered by the Blacks five to one, are bitterly divided over the best course for their country to follow. They range from hardliners at one end of the political spectrum, committed to retaining the apartheid policy of separate development, to liberals at the other end. Molly Blackburn, an eighth generation English South African, and a member of the progressive Liberal Party, is staying to fight for a new, apartheid free South Africa. She is calling for an immediate, dramatic overhaul of the political system. However, she is seen as a threat by Conservatives.
