  • 2Deadly Ewe Boats After a ten year ban, the live meat trade has bee n given Government approval to resume. The first shipment of live sheep to Mexico is expected to leave New Zealand before Christmas. However, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) is concerned about plans to ship 18,000 live sheep to Mexico before the Government has established clear guidelines for the welfare of exported live sheep.
