1Following a Network News report last night, linking the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to the Maori loans affair, Opposition leader Jim Bolger is calling for an urgent judicial inquiry into the affair. Acting Prime Minister Geoffrey Palmer says the Government will make some intelligence checks on the CIA link, but has rejected National's calls for an inquiry.
