New Zealand party candidate for the coming General Election, Leader Stephen Greenfield, is questioned.

A temporary reprisal of the daily, midday news package which featured an in depth interview about a current news topic. In this series of Newsline, screened during the 1987 election campaign, viewers could phone in and ask questions of the representatives of the main political parties.

  • 1New Zealand Party - Stephen Greenfield Led by Bob Jones, the New Zealand Party captured 12% of the vote in the 1984 election. However, it failed to get any seats in Parliament. Since then, Jones has departed; the party has undergone some public and at times, acrimonious reorganizing and has slipped in the polls. Nevertheless, the New Zealand Party is contesting 31 seats in the upcoming election. Leader Stephen Greenfield answers viewers' questions.
