Television New Zealand's flagship evening news bulletin.

  • 1Industrial action widened around New Zealand with a number of disputes threatening disruption. The dispute involving drivers has been left in chaos with many drivers opposing their union and refusing to return to work. Airways Corporation staff have issued a warning that they will strike for 48 hours in early December. The prospect of a total strike by hospital domestic workers later this week is concerning many hospital administrators. Shop workers are also holding stop work meetings around the country, in opposition to extensions of trading hours.
