A weekly Maori perspective on people, news, arts, and language from Television New Zealand (TVNZ).

  • 1The feature film Ngati gained a great deal of publicity this year, largely because of its success overseas. Its Maori cast and theme have been drawing considerable interest and is to be followed by another Maori-made film Mauri. The two features cap a long history of Maori involvement in the film industry, although it is only recently that Maori have begun to gain any control.
