This programme takes place at the New Zealand Legal Convention in Christchurch, and examines some of the potential problems of political extremism in the Pacific region. It looks at issues that have become topical since to the Fiji coup, such as terrorism, secret intelligence operations against elected governments, how much people believe in democracy and the risks they are prepared to take to defend it.
