It is predicted that millions will die prematurely due to exposure to asbestos. This is New Zealand's asbestos story, an account of how workers - many of whom had been in contact with asbestos - are now developing diseases and are seeking compensation from their former employers. Many of New Zealand's asbestos victims are not entitled to assistance from the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC).
