TVNZ’s flagship,primetime current affairs show which ran from March 1988 to December 1994. It replaced current affairs show "Closeup', which ran from 1980 to the end of 1987.

  • 1The Bank of New Zealand (BNZ), known as 'The People's Bank', has fallen on hard times. Its third Chairman in a week was appointed last Tuesday, his two predecessors leaving citing policy differences with the Government - the BNZ's majority shareholder. It has now been disclosed that the BNZ expects a $160 million loss for the first ten and a half months of the 1989 financial year. Interview with the BNZ's new Chairman, Frank Pearson.
