2The Government is considering licensing casinos, with the first one hoped to be in Auckland. This story outlines that the interested parties are; Fletcher Construction, Conrad Hotels and Jupiter's Casino, who run casinos on the Gold Coast. Also the Sheraton Hotel chain, Magnum Corporation and construction company Mainzeal. The third consortium is the New Zealand Railways Corporation (NZRC) in association with Casinos Austria.
