Interview with Dame Whina Cooper about Te Tiriti o Waitangi, the protests, the pride she has in her people and how The Treaty should be honoured. For some, however, Waitangi Day 1990 was a day of anger and protest, culminating in confrontations with police, and a flag being thrown at Queen Elizabeth II.
