    • The word 'Retarded' is used extensively throughout this programme. Retarded is a former medical term for individuals with intellectual disabilities, but is now widely considered an offensive slur. While once used clinically, it is largely replaced by terms like "intellectually disabled" and is considered hurtful, ableist language that should be avoided.
