ATV was one of a network of regional stations under the TVNZ owned brand "Horizon Pacific". The network consisted of newly formed stations ATV in Auckland . Coast to Coast in Hamilton, Capital Television in Wellington and Southern Television in Dunedin. TVNZ subsequently also purchased CTV, based in Christchurch. The Horizon Pacific network, opened on 19/03/1995 and closed on 13/06/1997.
