[Betting Big] Correspondent: John Hudson Producer: David Lomas He had the life of Riley - but it has all caught up with him. Graeme Raymond, a former high-flying millionaire, is now millions of dollars in debt and has been on trial in Auckland. His creditors say he's a conman - 'Betting Big' - has always been his style. A man who flew business and first class, while knowing his was in deep financial trouble - but he claimed it was because "the economy seats are too small for his buttocks." This three-time bankrupt has been directly involved in 12 failed companies - Raymond is a man who many believe is a conman. He owes his creditors millions and this week he hit rock bottom - facing charges including that of contributing to his insolvency by gambling and extravagant living. John Hudson talks to those who know Raymond only too well about the trail of debt he has left, how it is affecting their lives, and why it should never have happened. [13/05/01] [Conduct Unbecoming] Correspondent: Tara Brown Producer: Steve Barrett, Hamish Thomson It was 'Conduct Unbecoming' - an act that shamed Australian sport, a tactic so disgraceful that if it had occurred off the field it could have led to charges of sexual assault. The public disgust at the behaviour of rugby league player John Hopoate would see him suspended and forced to quit his club. His career is effectively over. But Hopoate is no isolated example. This year, both Rugby League and AFL have been blighted by on-field thuggery and appalling off-field behaviour. They are well-paid sporting heroes who are supposed to be role models, yet too many behave like animals. Sadly, as John Hopoate reveals to Tara Brown, it is a culture that is not only accepted but encouraged by coaches and teammates. [13/05/01] [The Million Dollar Nose] Correspondent: Charlie Rose Producer: Alan Weisman The French call him the Pope of wine. And American's have dubbed him 'The Million Dollar Nose'. Robert Parker is the most influential wine critic in the world - and he can sink or save a vintage with his reviews. Last year Americans spent 19 billion dollars on wine alone - and many prefer to spend their money on the wine Parker recommends. He has been sued for negative reviews but he says it's all part of the game. Parker is considered the best in the world at what he does and he says he's a messenger of pleasure. Most winemakers say he is the best thing to happen to the industry since the invention of the grape. He talks to Charlie Rose about his passion and his influence in an industry that he loves.
