  • 1Saints or Sinners Profile of the man accused of murdering Red Cross director John Scott and his partner Greg Scrivener in Fiji. Clues to what drove him to commit such a crime. Were the victims having sex with underage boys? Correspondent: Mike Valintine Producer: John Shaw 60 Minutes reveals compelling new information about the man who confessed to the killings in Fiji of John Scott and Greg Scrivener. This latest evidence as to why Apete Kaisau hacked the two men to death with a cane knife. Correspondent Mike Valintine talks to the family who cared for the accused when he was in New Zealand. They knew him as an accomplished rugby player and a fine young man, describing him as 'caring and polite' quiet and Christian. But they told 60 Minutes that in recent weeks 'something was bothering him' and that they were worried he may commit suicide. They never dreamed he was capable of the brutal murders. Fiji Police claim the killings were in revenge for Scott and Scrivener abusing Kaisau when he was younger. In a frank and emotional interview Scrivener's family reject these claims. Valintine also went to Fiji to investigate the lifestyle of the victims, to establish whether John Scott and Greg Scrivener were 'Saints or Sinners'. [15/07/01]

  • 2Something About Maria | There's Something About Maria Hollywood stars spend millions on designer clothing, but Maria Williams picks up designer cast-offs for a bargain. Correspondent: John Hudson Producer: Stephen Butler She spends most of her time jetting between Auckland, Sydney, Los Angeles and New York - raiding the closets of wealthy women - buying up their used clothing and selling them at a premium to the masses. But Maria Williams could never have imagined that setting up a second hand clothing store at the age of 16 could ever have lead to this. Her business has featured in the glossy pages of Vogue magazine. And since Maria took her business online, she's never looked back. 'There's Something About Maria'. It's her determination and guts. While celebrities won't even let their best friends into their homes - Maria is visiting these 'A' listers in their penthouses and apartments, going through their unwanted purchases, clothing and shoes often worn only once, as the culture of the celebrity is never to be seen in the same garment twice! John Hudson talks with this amazing entrepreneur about life in the fast lane, mingling with the rich and famous, and the trials of running a successful business in a different country to her husband, friends and family. • 3Shark Inc. "Shark Inc.": The private world of golfer Greg Norman and his family. Correspondent: Peter Overton Producer: Steven Taylor Recently Greg Norman was back in Australia, but he didn't go anywhere near a golf tournament. He was here as the boss of the Norman business empire - an empire reportedly worth $280 million. While golf fans have been watching his disappointing performances on the course, business analysts have been tracking the Great White Shark's success in the corporate world. The shark logo and the Norman name are now among the most potent business symbols in the world. Peter Overton went along for the ride as Norman checked on 'Shark Inc' - from his super-turf farm in the west to his latest designer golf course in the Hunter Valley. And despite everything that's been said and written, Norman says he's still competitive; there are still a few tournaments in him yet. [15/07/01]
