  • 1Baby Bloomers Puberty is supposed to happen to teenagers, not babies or toddlers, but sometimes, nature doesnt work the way its supposed to. Precocious puberty is the medical term for this frightening condition. It describes the early onset of puberty in girls before the ages of seven and eight; or before age nine in boys. Reporter Amanda Millar meets a young girl for whom puberty started at the age of five, and talks to doctors who may have found the cause of the problem. Could it be linked to hormones in our food, water pollutants or exposure to sex in the media? Or is there another explanation?

  • 2Swept Away How could it happen? A country we know well is facing the worst humanitarian crisis in living memory. Yet no one seems to care. Liz Hayes has just come back from Pakistan where nearly a third of the country has been swamped by floodwater and aid is barely trickling in. Twenty million people are affected - that's a bigger human toll than the Haiti earthquake and the Boxing Day Tsunami combined. But this time the world isn't digging deep. Pakistan has been pretty much left to cope on her own. And with disease threatening, this tragedy will only get worse.

  • 3World Champs The All Blacks are heralded as national heroes, but they havent won a World Cup for more than 20 years. The New Zealand women's rugby team are largely unknown, yet they are three-time world champs and gearing up to make it four World Cups in a row. Sarah Hall meets the most successful national rugby team in New Zealand. Move over All Blacks, the Black Ferns are beating you at your own game.

  • 4Update on a story from last year about NZ children abused in social welfare homes.

  • 5Viewer feedback about last week's story about Vitamin C.
