1Thirteen year old Isaiah Nathan went missing from Child Youth and Family (CYFS) care in 2010 and subsequently died while crashing the car he was illegally driving while under the influence of alcohol. CYFS have subsequently been forced to acknowledge that they have no national register of children in their care who go missing. Instead, they believed keeping this information at a local level would be the most appropriate way of dealing with this issue.
