  • 2Teina Pora has been in Paremoremo prison for his entire adult life. However, 3rd Degree has uncovered new information that suggests he shouldn't be there. Pora was just 16 when a misguided tip off from members of his own family triggered a chain of events that led to his arrest in 1993 for the savage murder of Susan Burdett. He went on to be convicted by two separate juries. But Paula Penfold has spent nearly a year investigating the case and thinks the facts show Pora did not rape or kill Susan Burdett. He wasn't a party to it. He wasn't even there. She thinks another man - Malcolm Rewa - committed those crimes. She outlines the facts of her investigation. Followed by a studio interview with Pora's lawyer, Jonathan Krebs.
