  • 1The Waiting Game Heavyweight boxer David Tua is gearing up to step back into the ring against Russian giant Alexander Ustinov. It is a keenly anticipated showdown, billed as a comeback, in which Tua will be laying everything on the line in terms of his boxing future. Tua's preparations ground to a halt five weeks out from the fight when he tore a calf muscle in training. So what has he been doing in and out of the ring to stay focussed and fit as he plays the waiting game?

  • 2The Hit Man In the early 1990s, John Veasey was a man with an unusual occupation: He killed people. Veasey was a hit man in the Philadelphia Mafia and found himself smack in the middle of the bloodiest mob war in the city's history. As is often the case with hit men, Veasey's career was a short one. When he learned his own crew might want to kill him, he became a government witness: a rat. His testimony helped send two dozen wise guys to prison, some for the rest of their lives. And the Philly mob would never be the same. Today, the one-time killer is a free man, living under an assumed name somewhere in America. He's married, has a good job and says he's found God. But back in his old South Philadelphia neighbourhood, not everyone believes John Veasey's story of redemption. They say he's still the same low-life thug he was 20 years ago when the mob made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

  • 3Alicia Keys One of the greatest compliments you can pay Alicia Keys is to say she isn't as flamboyant as Lady Gaga or as attention-seeking as Miley Cyrus. Alicia prefers to let her singing do the talking and currently she's hitting all the high notes. It's a great triumph because, over the years, Alicia has suffered breakdowns and struggled to handle the pressure of stardom. But no more. Alicia Keys is a changed woman - confident, relaxed and a whole lot of fun.
