For the public, this story began in August 2010 when Kristi Abrahams - Kiesha's mother - made a teary plea, claiming her daughter had been abducted from the family home. However, this was nothing more than a gruesome hoax for the cameras. Behind the scenes, a dedicated team of investigators began the task of finding out what really happened to little Kiesha.
