What is Hone up to? Hone Harawira filed an application with the Kaitaia District Court seeking a judicial recount of constituency votes cast in Te Tai Tokerau. With respect to the Official Count, Harawira is concerned with the large number of special votes that were rejected on the basis that the voter was not enrolled. We're unable to provide subtitles. Hekia Parata is happy with the roll out of partnership schools and says she is focused on lifting the educational outcomes of all children by easing some of the barriers to learning. Power's been restored to most parts of Auckland after a major two-day outage was caused by a substation fire. Just over 300 customers in pockets around the city are still without power, but they're expected to have service restored this afternoon. Crews are working to repair cables but Vector is still asking customers in affected areas to conserve energy. Meanwhile, bad weather has left 1500 properties without power in the lower North Island. Spread across western Bay of Plenty, Waikato, Manawatu and Wairarapa. Powerco expects to restore electricity to the majority of affected customers today. We're unable to provide subtitles. The incident happened just before 10pm last night when emergency services were called out to the scene. One was airlifted to hospital and police confirmed earlier today that the second person, who was missing at the time services arrived at the scene, has died. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
