Coming up on Te Karere... Hundreds of the country's top haka performers descend upon Tamaki Makaurau as Te Matatini makes a comeback after a four year hiatus. With 45 teams vying for Te Matatini top honours, we speak to the judges to see exactly what they're looking for in a winning team. Sydney-based group Te Hoe ki Matangireia return to this year's competition as the only group from across the ditch, following the withdrawal of Perth's Manawa Mai Tawhiti last month. Te Hoe ki Matangireia. The only group who has come to Auckland from across the ditch for this very competition, despite challenges of the time. And they've been training ever since.
