The Greens failed to return Nandor Tanczos to Parliament and a rise in the party vote for The Maori Party saw Parliament's overhand reduced from 122 to 121. Final results were: Labour 50, National 48, New Zealand First 7, Greens 6, Maori Party 4, United Future 3 and The Progressives 1.
