A documentary about 7-year-old New Zealand-born Rinpoche, who has been recognised as the first Buddhist "enlightened being" or High Lama to be incarnated in the Southern Hemisphere. This programme follows Rinpoche from Kaukapakapa to India where he has left his parents to be raised by Tibetan monks, a journey that takes him from playing computer games and Pokemon to the ancient world of a monastery at the foothills of the Himalayas.
