Thank you so much for playing. So all of our players have now completed their specialist subject rounds. So, let's take a look at our final leaderboard standings. Lily and Allan keep top spot with 130 points. Maanawa sits on 120 points and Jessica has 60 points. So, Jessica, unfortunately, you have been eliminated from Brain Busters. Just needed to swap a couple in Sequencer there and you would have been right. But it doesn't matter because you get to go home with a $100 bank account. So what are you going to do with that money, Jessica? - I think I'm going to buy new dance shoes. - Oh, awesome choice. Best of luck with your dancing as well. Jessica, thanks for coming on the show. And congratulations for our three remaining players. It's one step closer to that Brain Buster. - Ooh, things have just gotten real. Three players left, two will race, but only one winner. Let's go, Chris. - Let's go, indeed, Mikey. Straight into our next round, in fact, which is, of course, Brain Teaser. Now, all of our players have gone through their specialist subject rounds, and we are left with two options for our players to choose from. Today, they are Equaliser or Blueprinter. So Lily, Allan and Maanawa, please select which one you would like to play now. Thank you everyone for those votes, let's firstly look at Lily who has voted for Blueprinter. Allan has chosen Equaliser. So it comes down to Maanawa who has voted for... Equaliser. So let's play Equaliser. Just 10 points separates our players at the moment, so it could be anyone going through. Let's get straight into it. Your first equation. Lily. Next one. Out of time, I'm afraid. Finally ` 330 was our final answer for Equaliser. Some very tough equations in there indeed. So let's take a look now at the final leaderboard. Allan has 130 points. Manawa has 120 points, and Lily has 70 points. So unfortunately, Lily, I'm sorry to say you have been eliminated from Brain Busters. Thank you so much for coming on to the show. And of course, you get to go home with a $100 bank account. So what have you decided to do with the money, Lily? - I might buy some art supplies or I might save it up for something. - Nice choice. I love the idea about the art supplies, and all the best with your art as well. And congratulations to Allan and Maanawa. For them, it is time for the Brain Buster. - The ultimate obstacle course, where our top two will go head to head to see who will be crowned as today's Brain Buster champion. Stay right there. * We wanted to know ` It's the $50 note. Nau mai, hoki mai, and welcome back to the show. We are down to our final two players who are waiting and are ready for the Brain Buster. - I'm up here with our two finalists, Allan and Maanawa. Well done, boys, on making it this far. Now, Allan, I know you really enjoy your sleeping, bro, but, you ready to take out the Brain Buster today? - Yes. - What's one part of the course you're looking forward to? - Fireman's pole. - Ooh, OK, nice. All the best to you. And Maanawa, I know you're really into your art, is that right? - Yeah. - What got you into art, man? - My dad. - I'm sure Dad is very proud that you made it this far. You ready to get that dub? - Yeah. - Awesome. Best of luck to you both, boys. Let's now jump onto our zip lines and let's get ready to fly. Here we go. Three, two, one, go. First up is the brain stem zip line. Only 10 points separating these two, but who will take out the Brain Buster? Easy peasy down the neurotransmitters and after the molecule steps comes the corpus callosum. Maanawa has his code, he just needs to keep it in his head for the hippocampus. Same for Allan, but Maanawa has a small lead so far, as he punches in that code. Boom! He's got it. Allan's not mucking around either. Up the parietal lobe. Maanawa's making good progress and Allan's nearly reached the top. Through the tunnel, Allan's speeding up, and is now in the lead. The frontal lobe is up next. Allan needs to stay far enough ahead now so he has more time on the DNA molecule ladder. Once the switch is activated, it'll send him to the finish. Watch out, though, Allan. Maanawa is coming back for redemption. There are only so many number combinations to try before getting it right. So who's it going to be? Allan! that's his cue for the last obstacle which, of course, is the basal ganglia. Over and under. He couldn't have made it look any easier. Congrats, bro. Manawa had the lead at the start there, but Allan snuck in halfway through and was too fast to slow down. Mahi pai. - Nice work, team. Allan, I'll get you to bring it across this way. Maanawa, we'll start with you. Great job. You had the lead there at the start, and it all fell apart. What happened? - I dunno. - still did a fantastic job and it became very close at the end, both working on the last couple of parts of the course. Congratulations, Maanawa. Second place today, so you get to go home with a $100 bank account. What have you decided to do with that money? - Save up for a new guitar. - Oh, a new guitar? You'll have to send us some clips of you playing as well, all right? - Yep. - Thank you very much, Maanawa. Congratulations, Allan. You are today's champion. How does that feel? - Really good. - Really good. Do you think you're going to be able to take out the Brain Buster today? - Hopefully. - Well, you're here, and of course, one thing left for you to do, and that is Amygdala. Allan. Congratulations once again and welcome to the Amygdala. How's it feel to be here? - Really good. - Awesome. What's been your favourite part of the show so far? - The specialist round. - Yeah, which you did a fantastic job in, and then got through that Brain Buster in fantastic style. And now we're here. So let's play for some money. You scored 130 points and Maanawa scored 120 points, which means you are playing for $250. Nice bit of money there. Best of luck. Here comes your first question. I think. - Very close, Iran was the answer. Finally ` which has more musicians, a trio or a quartet? - Quartet. - Played a musical instrument? - I used to. - What'd you play? - Violin and piano. - Played in a quartet? - No. - What about a trio? - No. - So then it could be either or, really. - Maybe. - Quartet... is the correct answer, of course it is a quartet, as we take a look and $175 is all yours, Allan. Congratulations. What are you going to do with that money? - Save it up. - Anything you're saving for? - Not really. General spending. - Nice. Allan, congratulations. Great job. - Well done, Allan.
