So, unfortunately, we need to eliminate our first player today on the show, and I'm sorry to say Minnie, it is you. But the good news is you've got yourself a $100 bank account. For them, it's one step closer to the Brain Buster. - With only three players remaining, showtime is just around the corner. Let's hope our top two are ready for this, because getting through this bad boy will be a challenge. Let's go, Chris. - Let's go, Mikey. And let's jump straight into our Brainteaser now. So, all of our players today have gone through their specialist subject rounds, and we're left with two options for our players to choose from. Today, those options are Blueprinter and Sequencer. So, Te Whare, Cameron and Tessa, please select which one you would like to play now. Thank you, everyone, for voting. We will start with Te Whare, who has voted for... Blueprinter. Great round, everyone. Thank you all for playing. Let's take a look at our final leaderboard. Tessa still has the lead with 190 points now. Cameron has 160 points, and Te Whare has 130 points. So, like I mentioned, a really solid round for the Brainteaser. Unfortunately, though, we do need to eliminate one of our players, and, I'm sorry to say, Te Whare, it will be you now. But you do have a $100 bank account coming your way. So, what will you be doing with the money? - I'll save it. - Save it for rainy day? - Yeah. - Smart move, Te Whare. Great having you here on the show, and congratulations to Cameron and Tessa. For them, it's now on to the Brain Buster. - Two players, one winner. Who will be the champion? We'll find out soon. - Karishima from Wellington earns $40 each day helping her dad at work. If she needs an extra $240 for her Gold Coast trip, how many days will she have to work? * - Welcome back to Brain Busters. We just have two players remaining as they get ready to take on the ultimate obstacle course. It's time for the Brain Buster! - Cameron and Tessa are our final two contestants that made it here to the Brain Buster. Well done to you both on making it this far, but we all know there's only going to be one winner. Cameron, I know scootering is something you like to do in your spare time. Tell us why, man. - I get to hang out with my friends, and it's just something to do. - And there's nothing wrong with that. I'm sure your friends are proud of you that you made it this far. We ready to get that victory? - Yip. - Best of luck to you. And Tessa, I know hockey is one of your favourite sports. Why do you love hockey? - It's just a really fun sport to play and it's good exercise. - I'm sure it is. You ready to get a good workout here on the Brain Buster? - Hopefully. (CHUCKLES) - Nice. It's now time to jump on to our zip lines, and let's get ready to fly. Here we go ` three, two, one, fly! Cameron and Tessa zip line their way into the Brain Buster. Tessa's 190 points plus Cameron's 160 points equals 350 points that can be converted to dollars for the winner. Cameron gets his code and scoots into the Corpus Callosum. Tessa follows suit, but, man, Cameron jumped out into the lead pretty quick. And he punches that code into the Hippocampus. Cameron shoots up the Parietal Lobe as Tessa approaches the Hippocampus now. If she doesn't get the code right, she can kiss those points goodbye. But she's got it, and she's still got a fighting chance. Come on, Tessa, get up that wall. Both players are doing great here. But Cameron somehow is on the Frontal Lobe already. Tessa's almost there, too, though. She's just got to get through that Tunnel Web. Here we go. But any moment now, Cameron could be activating his side of the Brain Buster, via the DNA Molecule Switches. Can Tessa make it over and beat him to it? Really great stuff from Tessa getting herself back in the game. (GASPS) That's Cameron's side activated. Tessa's still trying to get hers, but Cameron is well into the Basal Ganglia. Oh, she gets it. But Cameron takes the win. Awesome effort from Tessa. Cameron was on fire, Chris. - Great race, team. Cameron, I'll get you to hop across this way. We start with you, though, Tessa. Well done on competing in Brain Busters today. How much fun it was the ultimate obstacle course? - It was lots of fun. - And we loved our experience here on the show today? - It's been really good. - Great to hear. Good news is for you, you've got yourself a $100 bank account, Tessa. So, what will you do with the money? - I think I might buy some AirPods. - Oh, very nice choice indeed. Best of luck with the hockey as well. Congratulations. Cameron, well done. You have won the Brain Buster. Tessa's giving you some congratulatory smoke there as well. How does it feel to be number one today? - Feels good. - You've done a fantastic job, mate. One thing to do, and that is taking on Amygdala. Cameron, congratulations and welcome to Amygdala. Great effort today. How've we felt things have gone? - I think it went quite well. - Pretty well, considering you here in the final round, right? - Yep. - Amazing job. Scored some good points on the show. 160. Not bad at all. Tessa, however, scored 190 points, so she scored more points than you, but you managed to just beat here on that Brain Buster, meaning you get to take all those points, add them to your score and you're playing for $350. How much can we win? - I'm not sure. - 350? - Hopefully. - Let's try. Best of luck, Cameron. Complete the show's song ` 'That's when good neighbours become' what? - Good friends. - Correct. What is measured in degrees Celsius? - Temperature. - Correct. Which Scottish Gordon is a famous TV chef? - Ramsey. - Absolutely. He's been awarded a total of 16 Michelin stars and currently holds seven. Very impressive stuff. - What is the main product of the company Movenpick? - Ice cream. - Delicious and correct. The original Segway personal transporter has how many wheels? - Two. - Two? - Yep. - The original one... has two? Yes, it does. Which country has won the most Netball World Cups? - Australia. - Australia. - Sure. - A lot of Kiwis wouldn't like you to say that. - Probably not. - But if it means winning money, right? - Yeah. - (SUCKS IN THROUGH TEETH) Yeah, it is Australia. In fact, I've won it a whopping 11 times, as much as that hurts us Kiwis. All right, next one. Which popular video game has an addition called Bedrock? - Minecraft. - Bedrock? You think it's Minecraft? - Yep. - What's Bedrock then? - It's the PlayStation` like, console edition of Minecraft. - You are correct. Beginning with V, what German car company made the Beetle? - Volkswagen. - Know your cars? - Not really. - But think you know this one. - Yep. - Volkswagen is correct. Which 1997 movie was about a ship hitting an iceberg? -Titanic. - So relaxed with all these answers. Titanic is correct. Finally, for Amygdala and the chance at a perfect score also. Which sport has a position on the field called Mid Wicket? - Cricket. - Play cricket? - No. - Think you know it though? - I think so. - No way... it could be anything but that. - Could be. But I don't know any other sports that have wickets. - For a perfect 10/10. It would be the first time ever happened on Brain Busters. Is cricket correct? (POSITIVE CHIME) Yes, it is. Cameron, congratulations ` a perfect score here on Brain Busters. $350. And I'll tell you what, because you are the first person to do that, we are going to double that money as well. So a huge congratulations to you, Cameron. What's going on in your head right now? - I don't know. - Can you believe you've won that much money? - No! - Well, Cameron better believe it. $700. Very well played, Cameron. - Whoo-hoo! Bro, I don't even know what to say. Great performance, Cameron, and you should be proud of yourself, man. You happy with that result? - Yep. - Well done, men. If you think you can take on the Brain Buster, just like our man, Cameron, jump online and head to Hei Hei Games. - Thank you so much for joining us today. Until next time, that's it for Brain Busters. Captions by Joshua Tait Captions were made with the support of NZ On Air. www.able.co.nz Copyright Able 2020
