We'll start with Mega Memory before we move into our specialist subject rounds, where our players can choose from six of our options. They'll hope to gain enough points to stay in this game, and avoid elimination. So, let's meet our players now. Firstly, Aisha ` welcome to the show. Now, you're the house captain at school. How's your house doing so far this year? - Pretty good. - Pretty good. Winning some points? - Yes. - You're looking after your house? - Yeah. - Good. So can we win here on Brain Busters? - I hope so. - I like the attitude. Marli, welcome to the show. Right into your drawing. What kind of stuff do we do? - Um, I just like creative drawing and drawing on books. Anything creative. - Nice. - And nails, of course. - Oh, very cool. Mark, great to have you here. What are you into? - I really like history, specifically New Zealand political history, American political history and genealogy history. - How did we get into that? - Ever since when I was probably 7 or 8 I had a fascination for JFK... - Yeah. - ...and sort of his assassination, and then I sort of became interested in American history and New Zealand political history. - Very cool. Will it pop up today? We will find out later on. And we also have Taika. Great to have you here on the show, Taika. What do you like to do in your spare time? - I like to watch rugby and play rugby. - Yep. - And I play centre, and it's` Fun fact ` my mum used to be friends with Dan Carter. - Oh, that's very cool. So you must have got some pretty good tips growing up? - Yeah. - Awesome. Now, I also believe we have a pretty epic hair style we have to show off as well. If we could quickly turn around, Taika ` how long have we been growing that rat's tail for? - Since I was 2. - Wow. (NEGATIVE CHIME) - Oak was the answer to our final Mega Memory question. Thank you so much for playing, team. Let's take a look at the scores. Aisha has 30 points. Marli has 20 points. Mark also has 20 points, And Taika has zero points. So now we move into our specialist subject rounds, and I think we should get some points on the board for Taika. Let's jump up on our seats, and let's get ready to fly. Cool. Here we go. Three, two, one, Fly! Aisha and Mark zipline their way into the Brain Buster. 200 points for Mark, 150 points for Aisha. Who will win the race to turn all those points into dollars? Crossing those Molecules Steps. It looks like Mark has a bit of a lead already. Easy does it, though. You don't want to slip and have to start again. Aisha memorising that code, as Mark is already out the other end of the Corpus Callosum. Aisha going for the slow and steady approach. Has Mark got his code? Yes! Up the Parietal Lobe for Mark, now. He's doing very well so far. Aisha arrives at the Hippocampus as Mark makes it up and into the tunnel. How did Aisha go with the code? Nailed it! Mark makes his way through the tunnel. Man, there's quite a gap here. Aisha's going to have to really get a move on if she wants to catch up. Mark approaches the DNA Molecule Ladder. Come on, Aisha. You're doing great. Mark has made it to the switches. Will he get lucky here? Ooh, he's not having much luck. Aisha's closing the gap. But there it is ` Mark can now head through the Basal Ganglia to the finish. Aisha's picking up the pace on the Frontal Lobe, but it's Mark who will take it out today. (BUZZER BOOMS) There you go, Aisha. Awesome stuff. You did a great job of catching up, and in the end, you weren't too far off. Let them know how well they both did, Chris.
